Ron GeorgeReverend Ronald C. George was appointed as the new minister for the Downs United Methodist Church on July 1, 2006. Ron is married to the Reverend Kathy D. George. They have three children, Christoper, who is married with two children, Brandy, and Ronald W., who is married with two children.

Ron attended Eastern Illinois University, as well as Central Texas College. He has a Master of Divinity degree from the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ron was fomerly the minister at Argenta/Warrensburg Methodist Church near Decatur, Illinois.
